How much work compared to a drip machine?

No real extra work. Still have to wash it out and everything. You have to boil (205'F best) the water then pour it over the grounds, let it sit for 2-3 minutes and then push down the filter/screen. Pour it out.

It makes a great cup best I ever had. I am using fresh ground Kicking Horse 454 Horsepower beans also bought at Amazon. Instead of the 2 tbsp/8 oz cup I am getting good strong enough coffee at 1.5 tbsp.

If you let it sit longer it will get stronger but you cannot let it sit real long or it gets bitter. You drink what you make, basically
