Gong itself was a French hippy band, but all the stuff lead by Pierre Moerlen was astounding, he Had Oldfield play with him, Mick Tailor of the Stones, Allan Holdsworth…..
Meorlen and Hansford Rowe had groovy little rhythm section goin on.
