The other men may not have died off but they went gay and played with each other - which is the equivalent of genetically death.

Odd that this would happen simultaneously in widely scattered populations at all stages of social development.

There’s plenty of Biblical Data to back up what you say. Not sure about the year itself, but yes - this event did happen and it wiped out billions.

Women then were not very smart. If they had a baby with a johnson they rembered that all the crap they just went thru was because of one on those and they probably thought they could just rip it off and make it a female. Hey! That sounds like what goes on today.

Something like 1 in 200 men alive today are direct descendants (father to son) of Ghengis Khan.

To the victors go the spoils......

“Something to think about — since this took place a thousand years before the Earth existed.”

The article says 5000-7000 years ago, which could be describing the effects of Noah’s flood.

This has to do with larger family sizes due to the rather sudden shift to agriculture, and the fact that polygamy is the most common practice among primates.

Agriculture, the original sin.

Stupit
They don’t know that it was only one man to ever 17 women it was only 1 man reproducing with every 17 woman

The animal kingdom has this kind of harem type population all the time with one dominant male that has a Large harem of females and a bunch of outsider males are unable to reproduce

Its a fair bet Male and Female offspring when reproduced at roughly same 50/50 rate that we have today it was just that 1 male tend to dominate and a lot of males don’t get to reproduce...

Who knows it could be before the circumcision that castration of infant males was common leaving only one ..the oldest.. intact to reproduce

“One man for every 17 women is every man’s dream... or every man’s nightmare if their menstrual cycles are aligned.”

Like a barracks of female recruits?

Like any collection of menstruating women working in close physical proximity for a given length of time. Been there and it aint pretty.
