The photos are OK but... A full inventory would be interesting.

Well, a stopped clock is right twice a day.

500 firearms in the possession of a felon qualifies as an ‘arsenal’ in my book.

First time ever the press got it right.

Made one arrest?

I’d bet money that we’re talking about an illegal. Who should never have been invited in.

The word "arsenal" is often used to refer to a Ruger 10/22, a single shot 12 gauge, and a lever action 30-30. In this case, the guy had more firearms than most shooters on Free Republic, and far too many for a convicted felon banned from owning firearms. It's an arsenal.

They arrested a guy that is clearly a gun collector. Meanwhile MS-13 is coddled by this same government.

They arrested him on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a patently unconstitutional charge to begin with and yet it’s just suspicion. What they don’t KNOW if he is a felon? And he also has high capacity magazines? The horror! Did this guy commit any real crimes or just make believe crimes manufactured by government control freaks?

can you say gun runner for drug cartels? Or gun laundry(cleaning up gun histories and markings)? Say, maybe he’s the guy that is mentioned when someone whispers, “Hey, I know a guy.....”

For the record, I did a count on the photo and I make it 330 guns.

Nice collection. Spotted a No.5 Mk1 Enfield in the front row and a very nice Steyr SSG in the back rows near a M1917 Enfield. Great taste in firearms!

made one arrest after getting a tip that a convicted felon was storing an arsenal...

Got your tip right here: every home, in the 'hood and barrio, that houses known 'bangers, has within its confines weapons that are illegal to possess in CA and Los Angeles. Plus most of those places' inhabitants include convicted felons. So, go shake down those domiciles under reasonable suspicion. Set an example for Chicago to do the same.

Didn't think so.

Looks like a WW2 surrender photo. Is there a pile of helmets nearby? Where are the recently captured POWs?
