Lucky you. Even though my father was a former Marine, he was into only golf when I was a kid and my mother confiscated every toy gun I made. I’d turn my old, broken hockey sticks into pistols, rifles and SMGs and run around the neighborhood. As soon as she confiscated them, I’d build another.
I ran away and joined The Army at 19 (before returning to college) and ever since have had a healthy collection.
My late father retired when I was in kindergarten but I got to hear a lot of interesting stories from three wars and peacetime. Hopefully he, like all the other men and women who are gone are smiling down on President Trump’s peace efforts. This is for you and me:

My brother and I played Cowboys, Cops, Army and Galactic Warriors. The gun was always essential and we made anything into one. I joined the Army and my Brother became an engineer. We were typical American boys. The FemNazis want to destroy that.
