Measles outbreak across England mainly due to European travel

Between 1 January 2018 and 31 May 2018 there have been 587 laboratory confirmed measles cases in England.

The increase in measles circulation is mainly associated with travel to and from Europe where there are large ongoing measles outbreaks.

Young people and adults aged 15 and over who missed out on MMR vaccine when they were younger and some under-vaccinated communities have been particularly affected.

Measles is a highly infectious viral illness that can sometimes lead to serious complications and can be fatal in very rare cases.

Anyone who has not received 2 doses of MMR vaccine is at risk, but young people in environments with close mixing such as festivals are more at risk, as well as unvaccinated people travelling to Romania and Italy, where there are currently large outbreaks. Anyone planning to travel to Europe should check NaTHNaC travel health advice.

PHE local health protection teams are working closely with the NHS and local authorities to raise awareness with health professionals and local communities.

I’d say the problem is “mostly due” to parents not getting their kids vaccinated.

Do you think it’s related to all of the recent immigrants from Muslim nations? Nah, that couldn’t be it.

I’d say that’s a big part, as is a plethora of un-vaccinated and un-quarantined rape-you-gees.

Well, that and Eastern Europeans. But that's why you should vaccinate your kids. There will always be people out there germing up others.

LOL! Of course there is no speculation on where those areas might be or why they "popped up".

Just another disease that once upon a time was virtually wiped out in the west.

As you point out: Euro travelers who catch from un-vaccinated illegal/illiterate/un-imunized refugees INTO Europe from the Muslim states. Euro “humanist” parents who did not immunize their kids because of false health concerns and bad/propagandized education indoctrination

Measles outbreak across England mainly due to European travel

A 21st-Century plague may be just the wake up call that the limeys need to realize the suicidal hole that they have dug for themselves.

April 20th was the 50th anniversary of Enoch Powell speech that was rebroadcast in Great Britain.
Since then the usual suspects (GB has enemies domestic, too! big surprise!) have been falling all over themselves claiming that Enoch was wrong. If he were alive, he could straighten out the punks, a lot of wannabe "experts, many of whom were not yet born when the looming crisis became apparent.

Enoch Powell was right!! About everything except the most critical. He never entertained the remote option that once the "asians" overwhelmed Britain, the classic stalwart Britons would simply roll over or hide, because they could no longer find their ****s ...

Worse than that. Polio has broken out in Venezuela.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/06/10/venezuela-hit-first-case-polio-since-1989-country-falls-deeper/

Told this to an ICE agent today. His eyes bugged out and he said “!!!!” even with the wall it will get here. They will come up from the Caribbean. (loose borders there)

The west coast has millions of Asian illegals. Our borders are porous in many places.

He felt this administration is finally looking at effective solutions.

They are working hard to tighten up what they can with the borders and going gangbuster to get rid of the criminals first and then the free loaders. (At the detention facilities everything medical, dental, food, etc. is free and they complain about the colors of the walls!!!!)

We have seen similar incidents in the US among immigrant populations and in places like California where loony parents, believing the anti vaccine rants of nitwit celebrities, haven’t got their kids vaccinated. We were very fortunate that under Obama’s open borders with hundreds of thousands of illegals beinging settled all over the country that we weren’t faced with epidemics of TB and worse
