I miss the days when ESPN just did sports coverage and when Discovery and TLC did real documentaries and education programming.
TLC jumped the shark long ago but did you really expect them to be the network that made Honey Boo Boo a household name?
One of the reasons cable is so expendable to me is what the documentary channels became. History, Discovery, TLC, A&E are now unwatchable garbage.
If it weren’t for college football I wouldn’t have cable at all anymore.
