After fifteen tumultuous years and one bad marriage living in The Swamp, I was pulling for the Penguins up to the last possible moment. But as a 50-year-long Redskins fan, I wanna say CONGRAD-U-DAMN-LATIONS to all you Caps fans!!!!!!!!!! It’s about time! CAPITALS ROCK!!!!!!!
Sorry, I really do not care. Since you have no issue posting this vanity, I have no issue replying with my disstain for people who willing give their money to people who then hate them in return.

I’m not a hockey fan, but I’m always glad to see a consistently good team finally break through and end a jinx.
On the flip side - for those who care about such stuff - CONGRATULATIONS! "YOU" DID IT!
See younz in a cupala months.
More like Sodom vs. Gomorrah. I stopped watching after the semis.
There will be no hockey on Sunday.
SEE - AY - PEE - ESS... CAPS! CAPS! CAPS!
An apt comparison LOL. Someday the Sharks will break through.
Was really hoping Ovechkin would get his cup. He has been so great for the game. My turmoil came when Devante Smith-Pelly came out and said he would NOT go to the White House if they won. Get over it DSP. Leave politics separate from sport. Some of these athletes think we should listen to them because they get to wear a jockstrap to work.
You got that right! So many agonizing defeats. So many 3-1 series leads squandered.
Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile.
Figures. I asked my wife this morning, “Do you think the Caps will go to the White House?” Smith-Pelly is a cheap-shot artist and a punk, like most of the rest of the team, especially Wilson.
Congrats, Caps! And congrats to LV on an amazing inaugural year.
Meanwhile in the AHL, the Texas Stars are all squared up with the Toronto Marlies ... 2 games apiece in the battle for the Calder Cup. Go Stars!
Congratulations to the Capitals!
I’m from Vegas so was obviously rooting for the VGK but I am pleased that a team that hasn’t won it did so.
We are proud of our Knights. They had a great year and it was cool seeing everyone get onboard as they advanced. It shows that there is a place for professional teams in Vegas even if we are a town of transplants.
Though they didn’t bring home the cup, the season was historic and that is awesome.
Way to go CAPS! The team played well and rightfully won.
Now that they have Kane (4-goal game, anyone? :) ) and are probably cutting Paul Martin (who I like) loose, they should have enough headroom to keep Hertl, Meier, etc.
