Eagles apologists trot out the “but we didn’t kneel all season....” meme.
Ignoring the fact that only 3 to 5 players were going to be attending the White House meeting.
And THAT is why Trump cancelled the invite.
Rush said they did not kneel. Wonder where we can get the kneeling ratings?
What a complete lie about the not kneeling/protesting. Players did kneel, refused to come out for the Anthem and raised their fists in Black Power on many occasions. The owner is POS Trump hater also. It is all a real shame after winning the Super Bowl. The Eagles have no right to trot out veterans, sing the anthem, wave the big flag and have flyovers because they are pure American hating scum. I know this does not apply to all Eagles players.
And yet Fox News and even FBN reported the players’ story and ruin the pleasure of the event for us viewers.
So why did he talk about the anthem when he made the announcement?
”They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military ...”
Needs to be repeated often in order to counter this stunt by the NFL, in cahoots with the MSM, to embarrass president Trump.
It should also be mentioned that the NFL expected president Trump to apparently change his plans, AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, at the last minute, so they could enact their petty little scheme.
