News? WHAT, 'News?'

24/7 Trump Bashing - but that's abating somewhat, IMHO, now that they KNOW he's going to fight back!

Heck. I still have Clinton Fatigue leftover from the 1990's, LOL!

When you can turn on the News, even just the Local News, and you can catch the anti Conservative / POTUS Trump Bias in the first 30 seconds of watching, there are no surprises.

Conservatives take the time and effort to deconstruct and ferret out the facts from the data stream, while liberals sit back and let their favorite Trump haters vent on TV.

It’s hard for me to imagine someone looking back from 2050 and thinking to themselves that the rise of the 24 hour news cycle was this really great thing for society.

News? WHAT, 'News?'

My first thought as well. We're tired of the vitriolic incessant hate filled Trump bashing 24/7

30 years ago (even before internet for the masses) it was estimated that a person living at that time with local tv news, national broadcast news, cable news, a local news paper, a national news paper (like USA Today, NYT, WP, etc) would have more news in one day than a serf in medieval Europe would for the entire life.

With the internet it's grown exponentially.

It's impossible to keep up with and sort out the relevant news. The selection of 'relevant' news by the msm and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter news feeds hides news that should be front page but isn't.

Raising the profile of a news story creates msm narratives.

It's becoming overwhelming and I believe those in control of the platforms will only flood us with more to hide their agendas.

"Americans are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of news there is"

What I'm feeling overwhelmed by is the amount of reports that aren't even newsworthy.

I was just thinking about that this morning. Popped on the radio, and it was Fox something or another (took the place of Glenn Beck), and realized just how bored of the bs I was.

The PM drive time guy also gets bored, and tries to lighten it up with non-hard news stuff, keying off whatever happens to make it into the news recently, other than Trump and the opposition.

I’m fatigued because we have all this scandalous news, yet we have no indictments.

Both Fox News and FBN ruined any enjoyment of the White House Marine Band this noon.

They attacked Pres. Trump and didn’t bother to explain that the players were protesting (and insulting our White House) by refusing to attend.

Instead, they read the anti-American players’ statement as if it was fact.

I never watch local news. Ten minutes of news stretched by happy talk and commercials.

Haven't watched cable news in many years, except for elections. I have no interest in talking heads arguing with each other.

Still read the local newspaper out of habit. The incredible shrinking Denver Post has now gotten to the point where it can't stuff the first few pages with Fake News or that would be all they could print.

I’m very tired of the 24/7 fake news bashing our president from the fake news thugs and their paid trolls using the internet to spread their hatred and fake news.

Now, I get my news from Free Republic, Fox News on Line and some of the sites posted by good Freepers.

We cut our cable a year ago, and we use Sling Blue for our tv watching. We watch a handful of old CBS shows and zip/nada from ABCNNBC. We pulled the plug on the local Fox TV channel and Fox News last January with all of their piling on our President before he even took office.

Sling Blue does not carry ESPN, ABC nor Disney. So those America haters get nothing from us. We are saving about 150 $’s per month and not paying to get insulted by those who hate us.

We stopped subscribing to Slime magazine and Newsweak when they attacked president Reagan with every issue.

You have to be mentally ill to tune into the Deep State’s media and watch or listen to them.

Well they have look at me fatigue maybe, but news? Heck 3/4 of what goes on out there is not news. Its just a face pushing their party or personal agenda. Do we really need a dozen or more 24/7 “news” channels? We even have specialty news channels now! ESPN Weather Channel etc.
