Let’s just say that President Trump is the best president we’ve had since President Reagan.

I certainly would not be surprised if he did. When you talk for 15 hours a day live for years, you are bound to make a common mistake like that.

Rush makes this slip often. I’ve heard it a couple of times. Not bad considering he was an anti-Trumper and pissed a lot of his fans off.

Today is the 14th anniv. of Ronald Reagan’s death. He spent some time going through how Reagan wasn’t a “present” RINO, but a conservative fighter. Citing the Air Traffic Control firings that sent a message throughout govt.

Likening to other efforts in the “holdover” and his recent reduction by 24K, and anti-govt employees union efforts.

Didn’t hear him mix up the two— but favorably comparing them. Guts, and tough. Both of them.

the NFL is total toast. I will never buy another ticket or even watch free. They are a disgrace to the nation.

He was recounting when Reagan fired the air traffic controllers en masse and that a message was sent to any interested observer, friend or foe, that he (Reagan) is not fooling around. He was drawing a parallel to Trump cancelling the Eagles’ visit.

Donald Trump is the best president that we've had for well over 60 years, no exceptions, and maybe much longer.

Financial Times
Wikipedia
Editorial Stance
"The FT advocates free markets[40] and is in favour of globalisation. During the 1980s it supported Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan's monetarist policies.[41][42]...The FT's editorials tend to be moderately pro-Europe, supporting the European Union in the context of a common economic market and opposing political integration.[43][44] The FT was firmly opposed to the Iraq War.[43]...In the U.S. presidential election in 2008 the Financial Times endorsed Barack Obama...The FT favoured Obama again in 2012.[46]...In the 2017 UK general election the Financial Times backed the Conservative Party.[49]"

Actually, Trump is turning out better than Reagan.
He seems to pick things up quicker and understands that the GOP is NOT his friend.

Reagan never saw that his VP was trying to undermine him

You heard correctly. Rush referred to Trump as Reagan at least twice.
