I can get a Glock 19 or 23 at the LE blue label price. I consider it an excellent reliable pistol that’s expendable. My expensive pistols can remain safe queens. I see no reason to put them at risk when they are no more accurate or reliable as my Glock.

G19 or G23 is a great choice. I have a friend who intentionally ran 3,500 rounds through a 9mm Glock (I think a 19) WITHOUT cleaning just to see if it would fail. He had ONE failure to feed after 3,500 rounds, and he figured it was time to clean his gun.

I DEPEND on that kind of reliability. And clean more often than that...
