Starbucks founder and off/on CEO Howard Schultz has endorsed open carry——although he prefers guns not be brought into Starbucks, I have seen hip holsters on coffee buyers with no problem.
Schultz is also on-record as a sponsor of job programs for vets.
On Memorial Day, the Starbucks I patronize sets-up the poignant “Table For The Soldier Who Didnt Come Back” complete with a soldier’s helmet and a place setting with overturned glass.
Only place I’ve seen this is Chik-Fil-A...
Whoa! Don't be so quick to praise this guy's phony benevolence and philanthropy.
IIRC, Schultz only offered to hire 10,000 returning vets after public blowback from his original offer to hire 10,000 illegals instead.
He was forced to change his offer and hire the vets only after he stuck his open borders, pro-illegal immigration foot in his mouth.
I have not followed the story since then, so I don't know if Starbucks followed through and hired any illegals or veterans. It could have been all talk and no do like many things are nowadays.
Well, that’s an eye opener.
Is Schultz an off/on Libertarian?
