Thanks for the posting! I’m 56 and if I retire early, this is a cost I am worried about. Plus I have an adult child that will need something when they turn 26. This may be an option for both.

The piece written about them in the NY Times, as well as BBB, audit financial statements, and ZERO Atty General complaints gave me piece of mind.
There are physician groups all over the country, who are cash only, charging a monthly fee that covers labs and xrays as well, for less than $200/month, in most cases. They do not cover major medical (hospitalization), but you can buy a major medical policy through most insurance agencies, for a lot less than obamacare coverage, and cost for both these services are still lots less than a regular policy. If you Google, “ cash only physician groups”, it should get you where you need to go.
