CIA and LBJ had JFK assassinated. Dulles wanted Kennedy dead because he was fired and because Kennedy did not go along with the military industrial complex’s plans. Johnson was scared because he was corrupt and involved in the Bobby Baker scandal which was beginning to be exposed. By having Kennedy assassinated he became the President and had the authority to terminate the Bobby Baker investigation.

The CIA had relationships with organized crime so they hired several snipers to kill Kennedy. Lee Harvey Oswald was a patsy as he claimed. He seemed to be pretending to be a Communist but all the time was being set up by the CIA.

In the 1970s Senator Frank Church had an investigation about the assassination and the CIA. Many dark chapters in CIA history were revealed. They were the swamp before Trump had thought up that term.

If you want to learn much about the CIA go on youtube and look up Col. L. Fletcher Prouty. He was a Colonel and not just somebody making up conspiracy theories.

After the release of thousands of JFK documents there are few who continue to argue that Oswald was the ‘lone assassin.’

The evidence is completely to the contrary. Modern forensics have not only discredited planted ‘evidence’ but raised the question as to who was responsible for the obfuscation.

As to the hiring of assassins... why bother to hire anyone when there ample volunteers within the mob and the Cuban ex-pat community, including ones the Agency had trained themselves.

The Church Committee Reports - can be found at Mary Ferrell’s website.

These 14 published reports of the Church Committee contain a wealth of information on the formation, operation, and abuses of U.S. intelligence agencies. Unfortunately, there are more missing JFK records as some of the Church Committee files have vanished.

If you want to understand, the ongoing JFK coverup, you may want to read Rex Bradford’s deep dive on the Missing Church Committee transcripts. It is a useful antidote to the comforting illusion that “the government can’t keep a secret.”

>>>JFK Most Wanted: the Church Committee assassination transcripts

The large-scale declassification of JFK documents in the 1990s brought roughly 4 million pages of new assassination-related records into public view. It illuminated what is still missing or withheld from the public record. Among these are the vast bulk of the records of the Church Committee which in the mid-70s exposed the CIA plots to kill Cuban leader Fidel Castro among many other abuses.

In the past few months the transcript of James Angleton’s testimony to the Church Committee in 1975, has been released. Four other key JFK documents have been released - but with extensive redactions. These were the files of four officers involved in the surveillance of Lee Harvey Oswald between 1959 and 1963.

Oddly enough, All The Presidents Men was just part of a trilogy of conspiracy films, the Parallax View took on the notion of a dark agency/corporation setting up patsies for political assassinations and even has a waiter/killer similar to Sirhan’s shooting of Bobby K.

Pakula was also notable for directing his “paranoia trilogy”: Klute (1971), The Parallax View (1974) and All the President’s Men (1976).
