If she hadn’t apologized and run, Big Media would have simply added “controversial” before mentioning anything about her, and ratings would have gone up and everyone made more $$.
OR, perhaps, it was done because like Cindy (Who?) Sheehan, Roseanne insulted a Clinton.

FWIW, I found her (former) twitter posts to lack care in editing/grammar.
I never heard her call herself a conservative, but now she’s considered one.
Big Media and most Americans hold conservatives to a higher standard of conduct. Hope she’s up for it.
