You remind me of an old Jewish joke.
A retired couple went on a world cruise. Unexpectedly their ship ran into a storm and ended up sinking. The two held on to part of a raft and somehow made to to a tiny uninhabited island all alone. The wife was inconsolable, thinking of their family and their loved ones; how would they ever see them again??
The husband shrugged and said, “Don’t you worry. Before we left I pledged $25K to the Jewish Federation. They’ll find us!”
