Facebook is doing it too. They are all datamining instafram and the www before it is prohibited. Billions of photos have been indexed.

Can you tell me why Amazon should not have cutting edge technology? I know you won’t tell me that the State should take it away from them. For their own good, of course.
I think FB has it, too. Amazon's getting more than a little creepy. With Alexis hooked up, they can hear everything you say, even if it's turned off. They can also see everything you do? What invades everyone's privacy is Google maps. The 3D side views give great detail to ones property.
My computer is in an enclosed porch, hooked up to nothing else. There's even (this is dumb luck) a separate electric connection to this room. No cable TV, no Alexis or any other hookup to technology.
We really don't have any privacy left anymore.
