The NFL probably just wants to get back to playing games before a packed stadium. And making money.
The players and the media? They don’t care. They would continue to play the “victim” card as long as they could.
As for me - too late. I don’t give a care what the National Felons League does from here on out.
It irks me to no end that so many people are talking about this as a first amendment issue (I made my husband turn off “The Five” this morning when Marie Harf went down that path and no one set her straight). It’s an employee/employer issue. Employers have a right to set rules about how employees behave while on the job (and even to a degree while off the job).
Probably! ALL they care about is butts in seats and eyes on the tube so they can charge advertisers accordingly. I think they will find more than a few former NFL fans who think the way which you do.
For me, I've already found more pleasant things to do with my Sunday afternoons. Maybe if Roger Goddell promises to kiss Tim Tebow's @$$ on live TV, I MIGHT tune in.
Now they will have leftys dumping them off as well as those on the right that have already dumped them earlier to never come back.
Baaaah! HA!
GTHNFL, aint got no time fo dat no mo!
