Thanks. This was one of the lead news items yesterday (in the Bay Area). They never breathed a word about that aspect of the call. I.e., the caller probably more offended by ‘global warming’ causing BBQs, than anything else.
I don’t think that was the issue in Oakland. They were bbqing with charcoal in an area of the park with no place to properly dispose of the coals, which apparently in the past had resulted in injuries to barefoot kids.
