If you have been wondering why the slow rolling of the Clinton investigation, it comes down to the statue of limitations. For most federal crimes, it is 5 years. Since Clinton left office in 2013, she is running out the clock on her crimes as Secretary of State.

She conspired to cover up her crimes long after she left office, those are chargeable offenses, for starters.

That’s not true. The actions of the FBI actors who are part of the conspiracy to obstruct justice tolls the start of the statute of limitations.

They are also in violations of the RICO statute. Every letter to Congress that misleads Congress restarts the 10 year statute of limitations for RICO violations.
