10 years ago I was in the same boat and pretty bad. I was given a Bi-PAP machine because the pressure I required was too high for C-PAP. I’m a new man because of that machine, lost 50 pounds since then and now on C-PAP. You will find a difference after the first night. Believe me it is all worth it.
Great encouragement! I had no plan to ignore the Dr on this, just skeptical. He mentioned restlessness - tossing and turning, afternoon naps, waking up disturbed variously... none of which I experience. But I am certainly willing to try whatever he prescribes. I am also still focused on these hormone shots... I originally asked for the endocrine screen thinking I had high cortisol {Cushing's syndrome}, but it turned out differently... very low on a different hormone - similar symptoms. I know I have a large lipoma {fat cell tumor} attached (?) to my adrenal gland. I have asked surgeons a few times about removing it and they tell me it is benign and holds things in place - leave it alone. If this hormone imbalance persists I will ask that we pursue that more aggressively.
