I got to fire one of those a few years back (grease gun)...it was interesting.
Holding it, the construction didn’t seem all that impressive to me, but it was firing it that was most interesting...the rate of fire seemed very slow, but then I again, I had the opportunity to fire a SAW the same day, so just about anything is slow in comparison to THAT!
But I think having .45 slugs going downrange, albeit at a slower rate, far makes up for it...that can’t be good to be on the receiving end of that.

I packed a Thompson or a Grease Gun on occasion while in Vietnam. Also, had a selector switch on my issue M-14.
