"What I Saw at the Coup" - Great 15-minute story
Western Rifle Shooters blog ^ | 9-11-2012 | Matt Bracken

Posted on 05/13/2018 1:37:12 PM PDT by GOP Congress

Almost six years ago, former Navy Seal and fighter against the Deep State, Matt Bracken, wrote this short story in the form of "confession" by an operative of a coup. This story was written in 2012, shortly before Obama's reelection, and the events of the story are consistent with the era and the events that unfolded in that time period.

The name of the story is called "What I Saw at the Coup." This is the BEST story I've ever read that translates the VITAL ROLE of our 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms, particularly to arms such as AR-15's and the equivalent, and the TRUE reason the 2nd Amendment was written in its entire state, including the militia.

Although we have TEMPORARILY dodged a bullet in terms of the actual method in which the story unfolded, I highly recommend everyone read this story as often as possible. Remember: We are ThisClose to LOSING IT ALL, and our republic; indeed, the fate of all humanity, depends on our defense of this US Constitution.

My favorite line is this:

"If the media lies, the media dies.
You take a side, you’re along for the ride.
A traitor in front of a camera is still just a traitor."

“We are ThisClose to LOSING IT ALL, “

Not as close as we were about 19 months ago.

From the link to the story:

"Short-fuse fiction by Matt Bracken intended to spread alarm among progressives, in the spirit of dispiriting them from ever attempting such a mad folly in order to cling to power. Matt Bracken is the author of the Enemies Foreign And Domestic trilogy, and Castigo Cay."

Then you are telling me that Travis McGee is Matt Bracken?

I love this story. Thank God it didn’t HAVE to come to pass.

Now, Matt needs to write a new one, where the libs actually try their wet-dream of a coup against President Trump, and the sane and patriotic citizens nation rises up to defend him.

While there is without question a foregone conclusion that a Clinton victory would have been a major, and most probably fatal, blow against our Constitutional Republic, the reason that this story presents danger in its current form is the amount of attention that current anti-gun hysteria has alarmingly accelerated since Parkland, and the fact that the Left senses a real chance at taking away our guns. (Spoiler alert) Remember, in the story it took patriots with AR-15’s and equivalent firepower to repel the coup, which WOULD happen in reality if we still had our firearms. But the unprecedented push to remove them transcends ANY current occupier of the Oval Office and the Congressional leadership.

So yes, we are still ThisClose to losing it until we can effectively and, frankly, permanently dispel all enemy forces trying to disarm our 2nd Amendment right to protect the Republic.

Thanks. I didn’t know, and now I do.

In any case, this story is timeless and ALWAYS relevant while we have a dystopian federal government which doesn’t respect the original Constitutional Republican framework. (Note: Not the “Republican” party, but the framework.)

Be vigilant but not alarmed.

I've had my suspicions for a long time. The two bear a remarkable resemblance to one another.

No, we have to be ENTERNALLY vigilant.

They will NEVER give up until the Coming of the Lord.

They, like Satan, are of THIS world, and will fight until the end.

Sorry, he only writes fiction.
