Today (Wednesday) is Put Up Or Shut Up Day for Bob Mueller

Today is Put Up Or Shut Up Day for Bob Mueller in court. He has to reveal what evidence he has against a Russian company who called his bluff and will be appearing in court. Today is the day Mueller has to reveal what evidence he has or be forced to undergo a public humiliation of asking for a dismissal of the case since he has NOTHING.

Here are the DETAILS from the Washington Examiner:

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s team was handed a defeat Saturday when a judge rejected their request to postpone the first court hearing regarding charges against several Russian companies and Russian citizens that they charge with attempting to use social media to meddle in the 2016 election.

An arraignment was scheduled for Wednesday for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three Russian companies Mueller accused of contributing to a Russian troll farm operation to spread discord online during the presidential contest.

Mueller's team asked for a delay on Friday because it was unclear whether the firm had formally accepted the court summons for the case, but U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich, an appointee of President Trump, denied that request in a brief order Saturday. No explanation was given for the decision, according to Politico.

Mueller's prosecutors on Friday revealed that two of Concord's attorneys made multiple discovery requests seeking nonpublic details related to the Russia investigation, an effort which had been included in the request to put the arraignment on hold.

In response to the request by Mueller's prosecutors, Concord's attorneys said the defendant "voluntarily appeared through counsel as provided for in [federal rules]" and denied any push to "quash" the summons. They also accused Mueller's team of not replying to all of the discovery requests and of attempting to "usurp the scheduling authority of the Court."

Concord has named in an indictment obtained by Mueller that was announced by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is overseeing Mueller’s probe, in February.

Will this be Mueller's Day of Humiliation or will he magically produce the evidence he thought he would never need?

I, for one, am sick of seeing old Moosejaw’s pix in national news.

He has to provide the evidence, we have laws. Oh.....wait....the law only applies to SOME people, not to Mueller and his merry band of legal flying monkeys

Mueller’s only delay tactic was to claim that the defendant somehow wasn’t served their summons properly, which in itself is admitting he screwed up

The defendants lawyers said, basically- what the hell are you talking about? We are here, aren’t we?

“The critical micelle concentration of polysorbate 80 in pure water is reported as 0.012 mM.[2]”

This fact may help lift Mueller from being entwined in our legal fabric and rinse him away soon.

“What time today does Mueller have to Put Up Or Shut Up?”

Is Mueller personally appearing in court today, or his team? I would be surprised if he did....

This is really quite a remarkable story, particularly that of the weird behavioral response of the Mueller team to the Russian’s decision to defend themselves.

Really incredibly embarrassing and silly-looking, kind of like something that would happen to Tommy Flanagan, the pathological liar guy character of Jon Lovitz.

Their argument that the Russian’s “hadn’t properly been served” immediately reminded me of that guy who claimed “three business days” meant “24 business hours.” I believe that guy was one Jason Leopold, a reporter for BuzzFeed.

prediction: He will turn over something, but it will be useless gobbeldy-gook which will kick the can down the road for a few more weeks while the defendant tries to figure out what they’ve got.

Like forgetting to sign your rent check.

Right. Normally, prosecutors will not do ANYTHING that could backfire on them in any way. The worst thing that can happen to them is to have the defendant turn the tables on them and make them look foolish. If you want to see an example of that, think no further than Marsha Clark and Chris Darden in the OJ Simpson case, and the non-fitting glove incident. That killed their case, got a double murderer off, and resulted in both prosecutors losing their jobs.

Prosecutors avoid such situations like the plague, and here Mueller has walked right into to a real doozy.
