First off, with a {last} name of Guadalupe, I assure you I'm not of Irish decent. {Actually I'm a Puerto Rican.}

Many moon's ago (when I was sixteen, now 64 yr's old) I was working at a fruit & vegetable stand (Bayshore, Long Island, New York), was called the Farmer's Market. The People I worked for were right off the boat from Italy. They informed me, my last name Guada = Beware, & a-Lupe = The Wolf.

Hence the Lesbian Lupe. Does have a certain ring to it.
