A lot of people are being nasty and accusatory of the actions of the people around him. They act and sound like those numbskulls who were blaming the crowd and zoo employees when Knut, the orphaned polar bear stroked out, fell in the lagoon and drowned. They whined and moaned that no one helped Knut. How would you help a 900-to-1,200 pound polar bear that fell into a deep pool of water if you didn't have a crane at hand? If you DID have a crane at hand.

So how would you suggest someone who lives in a society that will not kill an animal for fear of throwing a glitch into their own spiritual state and the spiritual state of the bear, lives in a state with very strict gun laws, and is definitely afraid of an animal that can easily kill them, as they just witnessed, help him except for throwing rocks at the bear, as some tried?

C'mon, folks. The fault is not with the crowd of people. The fault is with the numbskull who thought it would be a good idea to take a selfie with a wild animal, and that animal attacked and killed him.

Don’t be obtuse. The point is not that the idiot’s friends did not try to attack the bear or drive it off. The point is that they just video’d their “friend”’s death instead of calling for help.
