WRT the last one, I agree that Page and Baker were terminated involuntarily (i.e. fired) as it is normal procedure in cases like theirs for an employee to retained on the payroll for debriefing and interrogation purposes as part of their “deal” (i.e plea agreement or equivalent). Once the investigators see no further need for their cooperation, they are discharged, as I think occurred today. I don’t know if we will ever learn whether their pensions are affected, as there are laws governing that, and we will just have to wait and see if there is a referral for any charges, or whether they get to walk in return for their cooperation.
