He wanted to know what GODFATHER III meant.
Seems Reuters World reports, today, the pope apologizes to Chile that he, himselfness, “was part of the problem”.
This concerns forcing a bad bishop coverup artist onto a Chilean diocese and who was a witness to a priest’s bad behavior, but installed him among the people anyway. Something like that.

GFIII was a flop of a movie, and did serious damage to the GF cinematic legacy, however the plot was about the Vatican Banking Scandal, and the assassination of Pope John Paul I.
Only the naive do not believe JP I was not assassinated, and the GFIII movie links motive to murder.
As it happens, the premise of the movie and reality probably aren’t that far apart.
