Without Marx there would have been no Hitler.

Hitler’s birthday was last week. Are they celebrating that too?

Karl Marx Was a Pretty Bad Person

Marx become an advocate of mass murder and dictatorship in place of liberal democracy and social peace.

What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need; self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly god? Money. Very well, then! Emancipation from huckstering and money, consequently from practical, real Judaism, would be the self-emancipation of our time. […]

The monotheism of the Jew, therefore, is in reality the polytheism of the many needs, a polytheism which makes even the lavatory an object of divine law. Practical need, egoism, is the principle of civil society, and as such appears in pure form as soon as civil society has fully given birth to the political state. The god of practical need and self-interest is money.

Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man — and turns them into commodities. Money is the universal self-established value of all things. It has, therefore, robbed the whole world — both the world of men and nature — of its specific value. Money is the estranged essence of man’s work and man’s existence, and this alien essence dominates him, and he worships it.

The god of the Jews has become secularized and has become the god of the world. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange. …

— Karl Marx, On “The Jewish Question”, 1844
Might be arguable that Hitler could have risen in a different way without Marxian leftism; but antisemitism and leftism are of course indelibly linked.

On January 31, 2018, Mark Levin destroyed Marx’s philosophical foundation in his opening monologue. He picked over the rotting bones of Hegel and then ground them to dust.

All patriots and anti-communists should listen to it and recall that “the goal of socialism is communism” - Lenin

“arguing that Marx cannot be blamed for regimes which distorted his theories to their own ends. …”

Which is of course a blatant lie. Communist regimes don’t distort but on the contrary apply Marx theories to the letter (confiscation of private properties, extermination of the bourgeois, enforcement of a no-class society, redistribution of wealth, dictature of the proletariat...).

For leftists, facts and reality mean nothing, they spew falsehoods and always claim it’s truth, no evidence or corroboration needed. What’s disgusting is that they can always count on the lying media as a megaphone.

Yes, the manifesto clearly indicates that the “dictatorship of the proletariat” is a necessary step in Communism, so anyone who says Communism is about liberation or stopping oppression either hasn’t understood the manifesto or is a liar.

What the manifesto doesn’t make so clear is that the “dictatorship” is necessarily not by the actual proletariats, but by a few select communist ideologues OVER the proletariats and everyone else, and that there is no real plan in communism to ever get beyond that dictatorship to any other system.

That Marx, who was himself Jewish and the grandson of rabbis, could write something so anti-Semitic just underscores how disturbed he really was. Could his hatred of businesses and religion have sprung from his own self-hatred of his Jewishness? It’s an interesting idea to ponder. It’s too bad many Jews do not realize how often anti-Semitism and Marxism have gone hand in hand.

Marx cannot be blamed for regimes which distorted his theories to their own ends.

Right - since the theoretical end state of a Marxist society is peace and human actualization, if you don't have peace and human actualization you must have implemented the theory wrong. QED.

Or the theory is a crock of crap. Could be.

Germans ought to be proud their ancestors kicked Marx out of Germany.

Marx found refuge in England, where he lived out his days.

Some examples of his work, are found in N. Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, USSR, etc.

This is EXACTLY what my faculty told me in college when I challenged Marxist philosophy, implementation, etc. I told hime to show me examples of governments where it was working.

My first question though to everyone that is speaking positively of socialism or communism is to ask first if they know WHAT socialism and communism means and how it is implemented. They often say yes. Then I ask them to explain it to me. Which they can't. Then I ALWAYS ask if they've read Marx's "Das Kapital" (which I have and holy cow (translated--which is also variable based on translation) and it is DENSE and he isn't a good writer. So VERY hard to get through.)

At this point the person I'm talking to has glossed over eyes. They looked bemused and embarrassed. Because they can only at this point (after asking What?--regarding the title of the book as most have never heard of it.) say no they've never read it. I ask them to read Marx's writings first in full detail. Before deciding whether they support these 'economic philosophies'. Also ask them to differentiate between implementation and written theory as they read.

Of course these people walk away usually looking and feeling like the completely naive and ignorant yahoo that they are. Clueless, robots that repeat others' words. Which I tell them before they leave not to be. And recommend they study these systems for themselves and make up their own minds. As well as encourage them to studying Capitalism etc.

Marx’s father himself converted to Lutheranism, changing the family name from Levy to Marx. It was most likely Karl’s education at the University of Jena where he fell in with the atheistic Hegelians and the beginnings of what he’d turn into had coalesced.
