Yes but in this instance the video images have been blurred out, so it’s not possible to really understand exactly what happened.
Also the article says the individual had a “replica” handgun. Usually the operative word with that adjective is “nonfiring”. Was that the case? There are replica handguns too, that will kill you dead, so it’s a little, no a lot, unclear what he was carrying. It doesn’t matter to me, point a “fake” gun at a cop and you should expect to get ventilated but the article was poorly written from that standpoint.
Replica guns can be very dangerous. Especially when you point it at a cop.
