So true. We aren’t rich, we’re comfortable and it drives my kids crazy when it comes to buying gifts for Hub and I. We both can buy anything we want (our wants are simple not extravagant) during the year and they’re at a loss as to what they can buy for us. That’s the way we want it....they all work, having kids in college or our youngest in Junior High and we stress to them to take care of themselves and not worry about us. It falls on deaf ears by the way..........lol
shes got good genes that’s the only way to explain it..
Trump will just ask her , “what did I buy this year”? ,LOL
A card and flowers sound like nice birthday presents to me. What need is there for big fancy gifts when you already have everything you need?
I read an article recently about taking family vacations for holidays instead of buying gifts. That sounds good too, creating more memories instead of clutter.
