Mamma Mia
ABBA is reuniting and the Swedish pop group has set a TV special to air on NBC in the U.S. and BBC in the UK.
The band, which formed in 1972 and broke up in 1982 after eight studio albums, will debut two new songs including I Still Have Faith In You, which will be released in December.

I’m actually disappointed. Benny himself was adamant that we would NOT want a reunion, for obvious reasons. They would never satisfy everyone’s expectations.
(by the way, ABBA fan here talking.)

They won't be on camera... It resulted in two new songs and one of them, I Still Have Faith In You, will be performed by our digital selves in a TV special produced by NBC and the BBC aimed for broadcasting in December.

I don’t care for that type of music very much but they were always pleasant to listen to.
It was more than the usual bubblegum-pop crap, it had some complex harmonies and structures.
There are a few of their songs that will be remembered for a long time.

Yes, but these always result in the inexorable “live” performance together, to publicize the release. Count on it.

If you dig down into their repertoire, beneath the “poppy” surface of their most popular, lowest-common-denominator hits, there are some real gems that almost never get air play. These are worth seeking out.
“Eagle” is one of my favorites.

Normally I would agree, but I won’t count on it here.

I don’t know what annoys me more...their music or that they all slept with each other at one time or another. A drawn out menage a quatre...

I hadn’t read they changed partners. Are you confusing them with Fleetwood Mac?
