I first ran into this in 2005 when my 16 year old daughter had a friend over at our home. She was crying because she could not determine the time on her own?
Kind of like a friend of our daughter when they were in Jr. High who was going to help my daughter do the dishes after eating dinner at our house. She wanted to know what to do with the dishes my daughter put in the rinse water....We had a dishwasher that sat idle ( I didn’t like them - still don’t) but this mother wasn’t going to let a 12 year old get away with putting dishes in a dishwasher. Did it work? Nope - today she uses a dishwasher and has ever since leaving home.
