I know that it seems like “Olden Days” to these kids, but I started Grammar School in the 1970s. By the time that I was in First Grade, I learned how to tell time. It isn’t that blasted difficult, kiddies.

Well the good news is when the EMP strike takes out all digital clocks, it will become the proverbial “Lord of the Flies.”

At the young age of 10, I had a paper route. Because of this, my mother taught me to count back change properly.

Now, it's just fun to mess with them.

Them: That comes to $4.37.
Me: Okay, here's $5.12.
Them: Uh...
