I had neither heard of nor seen that little video she made before. She thought she was the poster child for supporting unfettered immigration and she turned out to be just the opposite. How about the little PSA video at the beginning with all those useful idiots supporting this immigration?

I think much of the world's stupidity occurs as an effort to distance themselves from the bad people of the past. The Nazis were demonstrably horrible people, and they hated people of other races, so therefore we must do the exact opposite.

The problem here is one of extremes. Going from irrational hatred to irrational love is not sensible.

Assuming everyone on the planet is exactly alike in terms of moral foundations and self control is also pretty stupid. Clearly there are a lot of people on the planet that simply do not share the Western Civilization world view, or the expectation that their impulses should be controlled.

I basically chalk it up to too many people think we are living in “Star Trek” times and we are not. Far from it.
