We have a couple we are friends with and the female half of the couple can not shut up. She talks consistently. One time we went to a baseball game with them, sat on row 7 or so, above the 3rd base coaches box. She kept her head turned to thew left (away from the batter, for those of you who don't follow baseball) and talked to at my wife for 9 full innings. My wife was scared to death that this woman was going to get plunked in the back of the head.

Not saying this is what happened to this woman, but baseball and hockey require you to pay attention to what is going on.

A hockey puck didn’t do that. She got tuned-up.

Agreed. It seems whenever you go to a hockey game (or any other sporting event) you can look around and see a lot of the women/girls there are busy chatting on their phones, taking selfies, or talking among themselves and paying little attention to the game at hand. You can even notice it when you are watching at home on TV and the camera focuses on the crowd every now and then.

She should have blocked the puck with her shnozz.

That’s what Geddy Lee would have done.

Take Off, Eh!
