"At Last" - Etta James
"The Wallflower" was one of a number of songs that came out in response to
"Work With Me, Annie" by the Midnighters (1954) Georgia Gibbs recorded a G-rated version of "The Wallflower," retitled
"Dance With Me, Henry" that was a big hit in the spring of '55. Incidentally, the man singing the part of Henry in the Etta James version is Richard Berry, who would go on to write and perform
"Louie, Louie", one of the most recorded songs in the world.
"The Wallflower" was answered by The Lamplighters with "Roll On", and Etta James recorded a sequel, "Hey! Henry!".
As far as I know, "Annie Met Henry" by the Champions was the last of the "Annie" songs to come out.
