Stormy Daniels made her first live appearance on television Tuesday on The View, and co-host Meghan McCain pressed whether she and lawyer Michael Avenatti are running a publicity stunt.
When asked why she was speaking out on the View, porn star Stormy — real name Stephanie Clifford — explained, “I’m tired of being threatened. And intimidating me and trying to say that you’ll ruin my life and take all my money and my house and whatever.”
“I’m sorry, I’m done. I’m done being bullied. Done.”
Stormy is being represented by Avenatti in her lawsuit against Donald Trump seeking to nullify a nondisclosure agreement she signed to keep quiet about an alleged affair with the president.
On The View, McCain pointed out a frequent criticism of Stormy and her camera-friendly lawyer, particularly given their appearance at Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s court hearing on Monday.
“It seems like a publicity stunt on some level,” McCain said. “I think yesterday — because you didn’t have anything to do with the case — it seemed a little like you were just trying to get attention. I understand that you’re being sued by our president, but it does seem like you’re benefitting a lot.”
“You’ve gone on your Make America Horny Again tour,” McCain continued. “I’m sure you’re making a lot of money — no disrespect. I hadn’t heard your name until all of this had happened and now you’re literally live on The View giving an entire interview with us. So it has been beneficial for your career.”
Avenatti pushed back on McCain’s comments, explaining why it was important for he and his client to attend Cohen’s hearing.
Stormy followed up by noting that she “didn’t name the tour,” and that she thinks the name is “awful.”
“I think it’s cheesy and a play on someone else’s idea and I try not to do that,” she explained, noting a strip club owner made the name up and other clubs have followed suit.
“As far as the tour, yes, I’ve gotten more bookings than usual but I’m doing the job that I’ve been doing for the last, almost 20 years,” Stormy said. “Yes, there’s a lot of publicity but I didn’t do it for that because this isn’t what I want to be known for.”
Once again, I’m reminded of the day when (as a 13-year-old) while playing softball with some friends, one of them delivered a solid hit on the ball, sending it on a flat trajectory over center field to a direct hit on a large bees nest that was hidden in a bush near the edge of the playground.
Therefore her only motives are to embarrass the President, and/or to make more money.
Don’t want, need more Stormy Daniels sketch memes...She’s even more of a joke today.

McCain is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even she can see through the Stormy train wreck in progress and she has made a smart decision to watch the crash from a safe distance instead hopping aboard and riding on the train.
