I think Israel targets Iranian assets, they’ve done this for a while, and I fully support them in doing so. Iran is totally a bad actor and the mullahs need to get toppled asap.
Saudi Arabia and Israel are allies, and S.A. also doesn’t want Iranian assets in Syria, and S.A. is the head of the Gulf CC whatever it’s called, so I think other ME countries will basically go along with S.Arabia. Other than Syria which is basically a paw of Iran.
I personally, would like a leeetle bit of a buffer zone of time to allow matters to coalesce. For the Arab world (sans an isolated Iran) to settle into this new reality, with Israel as an ally against Iran.
I think Israel action RIGHT NOW could upset that balance. Especially while Russia is in face saving mode. Russia might be tempted to be more aggressive than they should be right now. Which could F up everything.
I'm all for Israel and want their war eagles to fly when the actual SHTF with Iran, if in fact it does.
I honestly think we can do Iran like we did Saudi and North Korea if we play our cards just right. It is precarious at this very moment, in my estimation.
AND...I just betcha they are having this very conversation in the White House, Pentagon, and the Netanyahu bat phone as we speak.
