He tried hard to keep Trump from bringing in so many GOPe/Bush?Never Trump types over a year ago—and Trump unfortunately didn’t listen. He still had the idea that someone his crazed opponents would come around to support him once he was in office.
And clearly they got to him again. The last time Trump shot missiles in response to a Syria gassing false flag it was attributed to the ever-sensitive Ivanka coming in and pushing it. No such word of that this time. And I fear that it was a more vial blackmailing of the President that got him to buckle on this round. Either way, I am sure that Bibi-pal Jared couldn’t be happier.
All the hand wringing over this is absurd so long as American lives aren't being lost.
Use of chemical weapons and nuclear weapons are verboten. This isn't about anything else. Surgical strikes to eliminate these where necessary is absolutely proper per all conventions and treaties.
WWI and II settled that issue. Not to strike would be the epitome of cowardice and irresponsibility.
