I don't get it: are the votes for the impeachment of President Trump there?

I'm just not understanding: is it possible that the President is going to be impeached?

It will be the first order of business if the Democrats retake the House in November.

Remember, Bill Clinton was impeached.

All it requires is a majority vote in the House, I think.

It is not common, but it is very simple to do.

What is much harder, is getting 2/3 majority in the Senate, on the follow-on vote.

Only takes a majority.

Only about 30 to 40 House ‘critters are largely for the Trump agenda.

I honestly don’t know why everyone focuses on the impeachment vote in the house. If the house votes for impeachment, you need 67 votes in the Senate for the Prez to get the ZOT. And that’s not gonna happen unless Trump really breaks the law.

Yeah, the dems aren’t like the Republicans. They’ll insist their party members vote for impeachment. And Traitor Ryan’s shenanigans are making it easier for them to get the majority so they can do it.

Millions of the American people won’t take kindly to anyone voting to impeach President Trump; count on it!! Members of Congress, who vote to impeach President Trump, can start packing.

Impeached? Maybe. Convicted? Not a chance.

Impeached for what? Because they didn’t get a RINO or Hillary as president?

Does impeachment matter? Clinton was impeached. So what? As you say: the conviction isn’t going to happen. So the impeachment (if it occurred at all) would just be pointless virtue signalling.

Because they can.
No other reason needed

I honestly don’t know why everyone focuses on the impeachment vote in the house.

Of course there's no way that the Senate will vote "guilty".But being impeached alone will seriously weaken DJT. Possibly *very* seriously.

Has to be charged with high crimes and misdemeanors - like 0bama who wasn’t impeached. Maybe if the Dem’s try Trump can accuse the black Dem’s of being racist.

Not a chance as President Trump to be impeached. Clinton was impeached for reason of perjury. The perjury is a CRIME. The definition : “1. The crime of willfully and knowingly making a false statement about a material fact while under oath”. Did President Trump committed any crime?

Because they can? Let’s say GOP keeps the house. The day after the election the gop GIVES the house to the RATS by enough party members SWITCHING to give them a 1 seat majority. DARE them to go ahead and impeach. They will have 8 weeks.
