The sugar industry has reason to worry about DeSantis, since the northeast Florida conservative opposes taxpayer subsidies like those the sugar industry depends upon, and he voted against the farm bill. If true, it sounds like DeSantis is worth supporting (at least regarding that issue). In any event, those who support corporate welfare have a lot of nerve calling themselves The National Liberty Federation.
