When I make Kombucha (which is always), I spend about 5 cents for 2 gallons —a relief, since by the (small) bottle it’s usually about $3 at my local Whole Paycheck.

Making it, you can get very creative and explore different flavor combinations:

Apricot, strawberry, blueberry, apple, cherry....

You can also customize the pre and probiotics you add in the 2nd fermentation, which hugely adds to the healthiness.

It makes you healthier, cuts down on rashes and inflammation, makes heinous farts go away, kills your apetite about 35% or so.

If you’re fat as hell, stinky and itchy you need to quit soda and get hooked on homemade kombucha.

If you have a good, cheap alternative like kombucha it’s really easy.

I haven’t drunk a single can of soda in maybe 7 years.

Just read recently that microbene transplants using young child donor microbene leads to better health.

none.. But I can tell none of them apparently had the problem since there wasn’t even a single over weight person in the camps.

Amazing .. how if you eat less you lose weight!

The Many Benefits of Kombucha, January 2018. I keep reading about the benefits of fermented drinks and foods. I bought some sauerkraut, but haven't tried it yet. I went dairy-free in January this year, so cut off from yogurts.

Turns out my problems may not have been dairy or gluten - I had a really bad infection of Helicobacter Pylori in my stomach (probably for years). I did the two-week triple treatment and am due for a follow-up check now (six weeks after ending the treatment). What a difference eradicating H. Pylori has made! I'm still using probiotics and prebiotics in supplement form and continuing dairy free and gluten free. I am doing small tests of re-introducing some dairy (0.3 ounces hard cheddar cheese, a very tiny bit of butter) and re-introducing some wheat products (a slice of whole wheat bread, a couple of crackers). So far, no adverse reaction to dairy and gluten after eradicating H. Pylori.

Gaijin...your response got me interested again in trying Kombucha. I'll try a commercial one first.
