When it comes to college admissions, Asians are discriminated against even more ruthlessly than whites. Asian kids from varied economic backgrounds with stellar grades, SATs, and impressive extracurricular activities get rejected from the same prestigious schools that chase barely breathing black applicants down the street.

Think about that. Even though Asian Americans are TINY % of the population (< 6%) they are not considered a minority since their cultures by and large emphasize hard work and education.

A woman I went out with some time ago was a graduate of Radcliffe...which eventually was “absorbed’ by Harvard.She told me that a classmate of hers was the Assistant Director of Admissions at Harvard and that classmate had told her that were it not for the school's affirmative action policy the entire Freshman Class at Harvard would consist of Asians and Jews.
