41,820 Facebook users in Denmark may have unwittingly had their data forwarded to controversial analysis firm Cambridge Analytica.
Worldwide figures for data mining by Cambridge Analytica, which are in breach of Facebooks rules, emerged on Wednesday.
The data of up to 87 million worldwide users of the social media site may have been mined by the controversial consultancy firm a considerably higher figure than the original estimate of 50 million.

They all feel shamed that they might have helped in some way for Trump to win. It’s the weirdest European-wide trend that I’ve seen in a long time....Facebook aggravation.
But if they had helped Obama win back in 2012 by the same means (somehow), they would be proud of it?
Fakebook might be in some serious trouble here. One of the only good things Ill say about the EU, is that unlike our government, they take privacy seriously and have put forth enormous fines when it is abused. None of this was an accident or caused by carelessness.
If you really think that this is about taking privacy seriously, think again. It’s about the left protecting its own power. Note that they had absolutely no problem with this when Obama’s campaign used Cambridge Analytica for the exact same purpose.
And as for the privacy of EU citizens, look up the Stockholm Program. They want to create a high-tech surveillance state like Red China has.
Here we go again totally ignoring the big fat Clinton in the room. ALL of this was a coordinated effort to get Clinton elected, not Trump.
They should hold a trial for the executives in Salem, Massachusetts and be done with it...
More like covering up for rather than ignoring. And not out of fear of Arkancidal maniacs being unleashed either.
