Does Allah really command Muslims to kill non-Muslims?
https://www.jihadwatch.org ^ | 04/04/2018 | Robert Spencer

" ... In reality, Qur’an 25:68-70 warns Muslims not to kill the soul which Allah has forbidden to be killed”; it does not contain any blanket prohibition on killing someone. The Qur’an also tells Muslims to “kill them wherever you find them” (2:191); again, “kill them wherever you find them” (4:89); and “kill the polytheists wherever you find them” (9:5). So clearly killing is permitted, and indeed, commanded, under certain circumstances.

Many of our neighbors are confused by the persistent propaganda by Islamophobes that it is not terrorists but “Islam itself” that is the problem.

They quote the Quran out of context to achieve this goal. In reality, Islamophobes represent a $200 million dollar-plus hate industry, which promotes such bigoted misrepresentations and smears against Islam and Muslims. Islamophobes are also given multiple platforms and mediums to state this nonsense, as well as countless online venues.

This is sheer fantasy and propaganda. There is no “hate industry” of “Islamophobes.” Those who call attention to the jihad threat have far less money and resources than those who oppose them, and far less media access as well.

The result is that hate, anger, and fear are rising in our nation. Gun purchases, hate groups, and the number of armed militias are at an all-time high. President Barack Obama received 400% more death threats than former President George W. Bush did, according to the Secret Service. This is partially because he is assumed to be a secret Muslim born in Kenya.

What connection does this claim have to whether or not the Qur’an teaches violence? None...

It can't be a "good article" if it contains lies such as this:

Many of our neighbors are confused by the persistent propaganda by Islamophobes that it is not terrorists but "Islam itself" that is the problem.

ISLAM ITSELF _IS_ THE PROBLEM. Those Quran quotes are NOT out of context.

Jihad is organic to Islam. It is just lucky that most Muslims will not cut our heads off.

Something is amiss here - the poster screwed up the formatting.

Article 4th paragraph: Spenser comments on quote above. (see article)
In reality, Qur’an 25:68-70 warns Muslims not to kill the soul which Allah has forbidden to be killed”; it does not contain any blanket prohibition on killing someone. This is an inset quote by Spenser, not his words:
“Many of our neighbors are confused by the persistent propaganda by Islamophobes that it is not terrorists but “Islam itself” that is the problem.”

They quote the Quran out of context to achieve this goal. He's refuting that position. The layout / formatting here doesn't make that plain, but the offensive pro-Islam sentences were blockquotes that he's commenting on.

Please see the original article.

The Koran states that all things belong to Allah and anyone that is not a muslim denies Allah and may be killed.

kill the polytheists wherever you find them

Christians believe in the Holy Trinity, thus making them polytheists in Muslim eyes. It does mean what it says.

Read the original article. This poster’s block quote makes it impossible to tell what is quran/propoganda posting and counter point. What you are posting is the propoganda point and missing the article’s counterpoint.

These are the same talking points they have used for years (over 15 years and longer). The problem with people quoting from the Quran is not necessarily the context in which the verse appears but the fact the Qurap’s revelations aren’t in chronological order. This chronological order is very important because the mooslimes use this ignorance to feign the cult of killing is nothing more than kumbaya mooslimes and some fools have hijacked their so-called religion. The main issue is the abrogation verse found in the qurap. This verse states that their so-called god has changed his mind and now thinks the newer verse makes the old one obsolete. This is the real context and why chronology is so important. As each new verse is revealed, the old one becomes obsolete. A verse in the 4th chapter could come before a verse in the 2nd chapter and the 2nd chapter could more violent than the verse in chapter 4. This leads to the misconception because humans think linearly. We tend to think chapter 2 comes before chapter 4 so therefore chapter 4 was revealed after chapter 2. This could be farther from the case. This is the problem when one starts plotting the chronological revelation of the so-called peaceful verses to the killing verses. Those who believe in the bible are very guilty of this as we have been conditioned that the verses in the bible are chronologically accurate.

Thanks, but often I can’t access sites like Spencer’s from work (blocked), so I have to depend on FR to accurately quote the article, to see which ones I want to bookmark for later by commenting.

islam is a leftwing totalitarian political system
islam has its’ own legal system (sharia)
islam has its’ own “messiah” (allah)
allah = satan

Remember how the Left used to scream “I support the troops, but I don’t support the War”?
Well using that logic, it’s OK to DESPISE the cancer that is islam and pray for those who choose to follow it.
