Mom played and I was more or less forced into Duplicate Bridge.
Played Gin constantly in college.
Switched to Hearts and Spades after marriage (husband won his college Spades Championship).
Now find Bridge more interesting.
I assume that younger people find the math and pace of bidding games too challenging.
