Theres a buzz around this years Masters. Tiger Woods is back. This might be the wildest year in Masters history, CBS Sports reports. But the biggest news out of Augusta National this week is this: A popular, stupid beer catchphrase has been banned.
Shout dilly dilly at the Masters and youll hear doobie doobie doo as a security guard sneaks up to eject you. Thats according to Bryce Ritchie, an editor at golf magazine Bunkered.

So if you shout out “dilly dally”, you’re OK?
um ... I am not so sure it originated with a beer ad, but whatever ...
IN THE HOLE! Ejection for that too, please.
Silly Silly
How about “IN THE HOLE!!!!”
Cue the opening guitar riff for “Back In Black!!” by AC/DC.
Tiger Woods would say ‘Quiet down, MF’rs!’
Consider yourself beaten!
How about, “LIGHTER IS BETTER!”.......................
That smack of queers in charge of Bud ads. Flaming faggot stuff.
So glad to see somebody in the Master able to discern the gay stupidity of that.
Can we get back to Madden saying, "Tastes Great, Less Filling", and the Clydesdales marching down the road?
Here’s where it originated:

I wonder if they’ll boot people for yelling Bababooey! (Howard Stern reference)
Ill admit I dont watch sports on TV to much extent unless I am in a bar (the sound is off) so I dont understand the references to these phrases.
So if someone wouldnt mind, I would like to understand the humor in these phrases and why would anyone yell then at a golf tournament?
Claim 1st amendment rights and sue the hell out of them, they have lots of money.
...if their smart they would...it’s annoying
...because it’s usually very quiet
Actually,
Definition of dilly plural dillies : one that is remarkable or outstanding had a dilly of a storm for a practical joke, that was a dilly, first used in 1935.
Then there's the song: Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly
And finally, my captain said after a rough landing in weather, "Well that was a dilly of a landing there girl"
The Masters takes place on private property. The government has nothing to do with it.
Or Baba Booey? That one got old fast.
