They are correct, we do receive perks, aka, opportunities. We are given opportunities because we demonstrate work skills, people skills, honesty, and reliability. If you don’t want to demonstrate that you can offer someone these qualities why should they even engage with you.
My Father & my Brother both worked for years in the printing industry.
Textbook printing was part of both of their lives.
I NEVER heard one word about any textbooks ever being printed in ‘White’ versions VS ‘Other or Black versions’.
The schools are the same-—the desks—the heat- the light- the ventilation—the bathrooms—the lockers—the walls- the ceilings—the teachers—the pens—the pencils—the notepaper —the protractors-—EVERYTHING is exactly the same.
I am beyond disgusted about how a black person doesn’t get an education & a white person does get an education—because being white is a “privilege”.
It is complete bullcrap.
